If chemsex has been part of your life, you don’t need to explain or justify anything to get help here. Passmores House offers specialist, LGBTQIA+-informed detox and psycho-social support for chemsex, alongside residential rehab.

Passmores House is here to help, but if you’re in crisis or at immediate risk, please call 999, or NHS 111 (select the mental health option). You can also call the Samaritans free, any time, on 116 123, or London Friend on 020 7833 1674 for LGBTQIA+-specific support.
We provide specialist detoxification and psycho-social support, alongside the same twice-daily group programme available to everyone at Passmores House. This support is available as part of your treatment programme, let your keyworker know if it’s something you’d find helpful, or mention it when you get in touch before you arrive.
Whatever you share about your chemsex use stays confidential within the clinical team, shared only where it’s needed to keep your care joined up or where there’s a safeguarding concern.
What support looks like
1-1 support
Typically offered through 1-1 keyworking sessions, drawing on resources from LGBTQIA+ charity London Friend. Together, you can think through relapse prevention strategies such as setting boundaries and building healthy relationships, navigating dating apps, and building your self-esteem.
Harm reduction
We can also give you important harm reduction advice, with booklets you can keep to remind you of key information and contacts.
You may also want to engage in 1-1 talking therapy during your stay, through either our counselling or psychology service. Your keyworker can talk through which is likely to be the best fit for you.
What about my friends and family?
Chemsex affects the people around you too. We have a friends and family information booklet, created by London Friend in partnership with AdFam, for people who care about you and want to understand more.
