Diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI)

Work at Via

We’re undoubtedly passionate and committed to continually develop Via as a diverse and inclusive organisation.

At Via, we’re certainly listening and learning about how we can improve our approach and understanding of what DEI is. Therefore, this page spotlights our current DEI initiatives where we aim to make meaningful change inside and outside of Via.

Take a look at the video below to get a quick glimpse into Via’s DEI work:

Here you’ll find Via’s diversity networks and allyships created, not only in alignment with our values, to also recognise and retain our talented people.

DEI group

  • A core initiative formed to improve Via’s approach to and understanding of DEI.
  • The group meets quarterly and is split into two sub-groups: People and Services.

Our allyships

  • Menopause allyship: established in order to raise confidence in having conversations about managing symptoms of menopause at work.
  • Men’s Health allyship: encouraging men to prioritise their physical and mental wellbeing, in response to stigma affecting how men approach their health.
  • Neurodiversity allyship: aiming to raise awareness of neurodiversity while promoting peer support.

Our groups

  • Women and Girls Steering Group: a group undeniably committed to improving the safe spaces of women and girls organisationally and across Via’s services. The group also encompasses Via’s White Ribbon work.
  • Connection Champions: an interactive space where people from different teams come together to share feedback, influence plans and build connections.
  • Policy and SOP consultations: a significant space for staff consultation to hear diverse viewpoints across Via, in line with our ISO9001 accreditation.
