Come and see inside Passmores House

Passmores House

Our open day took place on Thursday 1 October 2026.

If you’d like to look round Passmores House, we can still arrange a visit.

How the 2026 open day went

On Thursday 1 October we opened the doors at Passmores House for the first time, as part of the national Open Houses campaign. Visitors came from the Department of Health and Social Care, Collective Voice, the NHS, local authorities, homelessness services and other treatment providers, alongside colleagues from across Via. Our clinical team ran tours of the building, answered questions about detox and rehab, and talked through how referrals work.

They gradually built his confidence back up and gave us back the person that had been lost.

FAQs

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. Bring a partner, a friend, a family member, your keyworker, whoever you’d feel most comfortable with.

Plenty of people find it easier not to come on their own, and that’s completely normal.

Will I see people who are staying at Passmores House?

Passmores House is home to the people living here while they’re with us, so some parts of the house stay private and we’ll show you what’s on the route when you arrive.

Anyone you do meet has chosen to be there. We’d ask you to treat everyone’s privacy the way you’d want your own treated, and not to take photographs of people.

Does it cost anything to come to the open day?

No, it’s completely free.

Would you like to look round?

You don’t have to wait for the next open day. If you work in a service and would like to visit, on your own or with your team, call 01279 634 200, or email passmores@viaorg.uk. We’ll find a time that suits.
