    Want help to quit smoking? Our specialist advisors can help.

    We provide smoking cessation advice and support to anyone aged 12+ who lives or works in Harrow.

    How we can help

    • One-to-one sessions with a trained specialist advisor
    • Free nicotine replacement therapies and other stop smoking medications
    • Advice and information around your health and wellbeing
    • Advice and support to quit vaping
    • Support with quitting chewing tobacco and shisha

    Your advisor can also measure the levels of carbon monoxide in your body using a carbon monoxide monitor. The monitor shows how your CO level drops to the same level as a non-smoker when you stop smoking.

    Worried about your own or someone else’s alcohol or drug use?
    We provide free and confidential advice, care and support for people in Harrow aged 18+.

    You can visit our service or contact us by phone or email.

    You can also fill in our online form and once we’ve received it, we’ll get in touch with you.

    Any professional, like a housing support worker, social worker, GP or nurse can also make a referral for you.

    Your first visit

    Coming into our service for the first time might feel a bit daunting, but our friendly team will do their best to help you feel comfortable.

    You’ll meet with one of our support workers and talk about your concerns and then make a plan together.

    This care plan will help you cut down or stop your drinking or drug use.

    It’ll also help us make sure that you’re getting the right support at the right time for you.

    We also offer help for the family, friends and carers of the people who use our services. If you’d like to find out more about the support we offer, please get in touch.

    How we help

    At our service, you can get:

    • Advice about your health and wellbeing
    • Regular sessions with your personal keyworker
    • A range of different support groups
    • Weekend drop-in support provided by Build of Belief (BOB)
    • Looking ahead to what might be next for you: motivational programmes, education, training and employment support, peer mentoring and volunteering.

    Evening appointments, online groups, and telephone or video sessions are also available to fit around your other commitments.
