    Worried about your own or someone else’s alcohol or drug use?
    We provide free and confidential advice, care and support for people in Brent aged 18+.

    You can visit one of our Via Brent New Beginnings sites or contact us by phone or email.

    You can also fill in our online form and once we’ve received it, we’ll get in touch with you:

    Any professional, like a housing support worker, social worker, GP or nurse can also make a referral for you.

    Your first visit

    Coming into our service for the first time might feel a bit daunting, but our friendly team will do their best to help you feel comfortable.

    You’ll meet with one of our support workers and talk about your concerns and then make a plan together.

    This care plan will help you cut down or stop your drinking or drug use.

    It’ll also help us make sure that you’re getting the right support at the right time for you.

    We also offer help for the family, friends and carers of the people who use our services.

    How we help

    At our service, you can get:

    • Advice about your health and wellbeing
    • Regular sessions with your personal keyworker
    • A range of different support groups (including a 12-week abstinence day programme)
    • Weekend drop-in support provided by service user group, B3
    • Looking ahead to what might be next for you: motivational programmes, education, training and employment support, peer mentoring and volunteering
    • Women only spaces on Tuesdays 17:00-19:00 and Fridays 9:00-12:00

    Evening appointments, online groups, and telephone or video sessions are also available.

    Are you worried about your drug or alcohol use, or emotional wellbeing?
    We can offer you free, friendly and non-judgmental support for you or your family.

    If you’re 25 years old or under and live or study in Brent, we’re here to help.

    You can get advice and information around your health and wellbeing.

    You can have private and confidential sessions with your own support worker (in-person and online).

    We can help you to make better decisions about your drinking or drug use.

    We can help you get other support you might need.

    We can meet at a location that works for you – such as your school, college, youth club or a safe space in your local community – and at a time that suits you.
