  2. One week to go – updated induction timetable!

25 March 2024 by Kate Bonner

A week to go! We’re now fast approaching 1 April and are excited to continue to get to know you all post transfer.

We wanted to send out a reminder of the induction plan for the first week of the transfer.

As mentioned before, you won’t be expected to deliver the service during this time as we have arranged for a team of experienced Via colleagues (pathfinders) who will be based at the Gloucester, Stroud and Cheltenham sites to manage any drop-ins or emergency appointments to enable you to focus on the induction schedule during the first week.

Pathfinders will include staff across all areas of service delivery (recovery practitioners, managers, data and performance, quality, clinical team members, etc) as well as support from our senior leadership team.

Please don’t book any appointments during the first week including any satellite provision. Our pathfinders will be able to support with any emergency/urgent needs that present during that week (including any scripting issues following the bank holiday weekend).

We’re also working with your management teams to ensure that we are aware of, and have a plan for, high-risk individuals and anyone who may need an appointment within that first week.

We want your transition to Via to be a smooth and welcoming one.

Below is a link to the updated schedule for your induction, so you can see what has been planned – there’s one version for Gloucester-based staff and one for Cheltenham and Stroud.

    Gloucestershire induction timetable

On day one (Tuesday 2 April), please attend your main locality hub.

To enable joint face-to-face training, staff usually based at Stroud will need to base themselves in Cheltenham on Wednesday 3 April and Thursday 4 April.

We look forward to seeing you next week!

  3. Send us a photo for your new ID badge

14 March 2024 by Kate Bonner

Don’t forget that we need a picture of you to go on your new Via ID badge!

    • Please take a passport-like photo (head and shoulders) of yourself – you can smile in it but it needs to have a plain background.
    • Remember to include your name in your email so we know who to match the photo to.

Thank you – we look forward to receiving your photos!

  4. Updated staff structure & job matching

12 March 2024 by Kate Bonner

We’ve now concluded our matching process and are pleased to update you that your individual confirmation letters are on their way.

We’ve listened to feedback and have made some changes to the staffing structure to reflect this; everyone has been matched to a role.

For those people matched into a Recovery Practitioner role please note the link to the Recovery Practitioner – additional information document that was shared alongside the job descriptions. We don’t intend to make any immediate changes to the area of focus you may currently have as we prioritise continuity of service delivery.

As per your matching letters, should you have any feedback, it will need to submitted by 18 March 2024.

You can view the updated staffing structure below and also on the Important Information page.
